Carlie, her three bridesmaids and family all got ready at One Ski Hill Place before meeting her soon-to-be-husband on Peak 9 for their first look. With the wind howling & some beautiful overhead clouds, these two could not have been more excited to share a moment together before kicking off the wedding with everyone else. Brandon’s reaction was the best and something every gal dreams about.

Coming back down to Tenmile Station, the wind died down just in time for these two to make their vows to each other. After cocktail hour was finished, we noticed Brandon & Carlie’s mother sneaking down to the basement, to find out that Brandon’s pants needed some mending. Later that evening, Brandon kick off the party as he sat down at the keyboard and shared his music abilities with Carlie & guests.

During a pause from Raising Cane, Carlie’s brother and sister-in-law hopped on stage to fill the void with a few songs they wanted to share with the newlyweds. It was a beautiful moment as these talked through what each song was to them & why they wanted to share it.

After the wedding was done, these two decided that a honeymoon in the new Prospector would fit the bill. We’ve enjoyed watching their epic adventure across the southern Rocky Mountains, but hope to meet up soon to hear all about it.

Their wedding weekend started off on Friday at Napper Tandy Irish Pub where their friends and family enjoyed some tasty beverages before the heartfelt speeches began. Our good friend, Justin Edmonds, captured their rehearsal for us. On Saturday, both the gentlemen and ladies started the day off with some bowling and bridal prep at One Ski Hill Place before hoping on the shuttle to their Tenmile Station Wedding.

Upon arriving, Justin & Katy saw each other for the first time on the ski slopes of Breckenridge… just before the rain began to start. With everyone inside, everyone’s weather app was open, trying to figure out if we could squeeze the ceremony in before it really hit. After much deliberation, they went for it, snow and all. Their Tenmile Station Ceremony was a little chilly, but oh so beautiful.

Shortly after they receded back down the isle as husband and wife, we made our way up above treeline for some portraits in the fresh snow. Its not too often that you get fall colors and white-out backdrops in the same wedding day. It was nothing short of an amazing day for these two.

We finished off the night with a dance floor that never stopped, thanks to Mannequin the Band. Congrats to Justin & Katy on your beautiful, wintery, Tenmile Station Fall Wedding.

Having met at the University of Illinois, these two decided to continue their relationship with a move to Colorado so they could enjoy all that it has to offer. For their Breckenridge Winter Engagement session, we trucked through the snow on the slopes they love to snowboard on in the winter. However, we saved the backdrops of Peak 9 and 10 for their wedding day.

Both Nick & Lauren started their wedding prep at the Mountain Thunder Lodge condos before heading over to TenMile Station for their bluebird ceremony. Our favorite part was when Lauren snuck Nick a kiss just after proceeding down the isle. Tradition has it that a kiss seals the deal after the vows and rings have been exchanged, but we love it when couples break the mold. Shortly after their intimate nuptials, we headed down a ski run to photograph their wedding party in the many wild flowers that adorn Colorado in August.

As is usual for us at TenMile Station, we took Nick & Lauren above treeline for a few quick portraits before the rain came. Arriving back at the venue, the night began with some beautiful speeches. Another favorite memory of ours was when their guests started shouting “Rainbow.” Confused at first, we quickly discovered that the rain had left us a beautiful strip of ROYGBIV.

Once the formalities were complete, the real party began. Lets just say, the Young gals know how to get down. Everyone else followed suit and our cameras didn’t take a break all night. We had such a blast photographing these two on the dance floor with their crazy group of friends from all over the country. Enjoy these photos from their TenMile Station Breckenridge Wedding.

As for the facilities themselves, this space is large and very accommodating. Between the outside patio, the inside bar area, eating area and downstairs, it has so much potential for medium to large sized weddings. We have even used the downstairs area as a wedding ceremony location for a backup due to weather.

Photo wise, to the south east, there are some beautiful views of Boreas Mountain and the surrounding Front Range. Walking in most any direction from the venue itself will lend itself to fields of wildflowers and scenic views of the town below. Whether its your first-look, wedding party or family photos, the amount of backdrops at Tenmile Station are endless.

In regard to Breckenridge Wedding Venues, Tenmile Station tops the list as our favorite in the area.
