This new venue in Leadville instantly became one of our favorites. It has a large capacity, on-site lodging and lots of character inside the reception space. The historic Leadville train station was restored into what is now FREIGHT. Dan & Nan Anderson, who are the owners and architects behind the project did an excellent job of preserving many of the original features. The venue also has an amazing in-house wedding planner, Carrie Mallozzi of Stellar and Sage, who we’ve worked with on several occasions. Overall, if you are looking for amazing mountain views with a reasonably priced venue that isn’t another ‘wedding factory’, FREIGHT gets our suggestion.
