Uley’s Cabin isn’t your over-the-top extravagant mountain-top wedding venue, but this is what makes it so special. It has an intimate feel that can get lost in a large ballroom or reception space.
The wedding ceremony deck sits just outside the cabin and provides a beautiful look back on the West Elk Mountains. The deck can be a little tight if you are maxing out the guest count, but the views worth it.
During the summer months, you’ll find the ski runs filled with lupine and other Colorado wild flowers. There are endless amounts of picture opportunities within walking distance when it comes time for portraits.
When it comes to reception space, the cabin is cozy feeling and has a bunch of authentic & historic décor. The outdoor bar is a bonus as well when it comes to cocktail hour and can alleviate crowding inside the cabin. Just be sure to have guests bring their coats as it can get chilly in the evenings.
